League of Legends: Wild Rift Patch Campaign Motion System
Motion systems designed for evolving campaign visuals and fast-paced publishing cycles.

About the project
Overview
Across more than 10 Wild Rift patch campaigns, I worked from approved key visuals and storyboards to develop the motion direction for each release. Once approved, the motion language was extended into reusable assets, templates, and production guidelines for Riot's publishing team and external vendors.
Each patch was completed within approximately two weeks, requiring quick adaptation to a new visual theme while keeping the production workflow clear, consistent, and easy to scale.

VERSION CASE STUDY
Patch 4A - Bright Heights
The static visual language of Bright Heights was built around radiant light, symmetry, and kaleidoscopic structures.
I translated these elements into motion through expanding forms, layered color refraction, and rhythmic light bursts, creating a motion language that remained recognizable across different asset types.
VERSION CASE STUDY
Patch 7.1 - Flat Out
Flat Out brings racing energy into the Wild Rift visual language through speed, competition, and high-impact graphic elements.
The motion direction focused on acceleration, rapid transitions, and directional movement, translating the sense of racing into a flexible system for different publishing assets.
