About the project

Background Information

SF Express's dedicated delivery service is a special line established by SF Express for certain categories of goods or goods from specific regions, such as hairy crab delivery and international delivery. Its key characteristic is its timeliness; the processes of pickup, delivery, and signing for receipt require higher levels of attention than regular SF Express shipments. Therefore, SF Express's back-end system needs a large data dashboard to monitor these dedicated line shipments in real time to ensure service quality. Data analysis will be conducted using individual products with regional characteristics as entry points. In the project design, hairy crabs were used as an example.

Design Process

Visual Analysis

Taking the monitoring of Suzhou hairy crab express delivery packages as an example, the information was re-layered, rearranged, and visually optimized to highlight key information. This can be summarized in four points:

Reduced visual fragmentation;
Optimized data display effects, adding visual effects such as 2.5D;
Added SF Express brand colors;
Optimized the display layout of each module to make it more reasonable and harmonious.

Design Process

Demo

The initial design employed a fully transparent 3D visual style with numerous auxiliary details, aiming to enhance the technological feel of the real-time data display. However, this design prioritizes practicality. While the semi-transparent effect is visually appealing, it reduces the recognizability of graphic data and can cause eye strain during prolonged viewing.
