THREE BODY PROBLEM - BEYOND THE GRAVITY IMMERSION EXHIBITION
Recreating iconic ships and scenes from the novel into a cinematic, real-world experience.

About the project
Translating the Three-Body universe into a cinematic immersive experience.
The project is part of a large-scale immersive experience inspired by Death’s End, the final installment of the Three-Body trilogy. Death's End
The goal was to translate key narrative elements into visual and spatial experiences that audiences could directly engage with — turning written science fiction into something physically and visually perceivable.
The work involved recreating spacecraft, building cinematic scenes, and ensuring visual consistency across different exhibition environments.
Spaceship Design
BLUESPACE
In Three-Body, Blue Space is a key battleship in humanity's fight against the Trisolaran civilization. This warship, built by the Earth United Fleet, is equipped with advanced technology and powerful weapon systems, designed to protect Earth from extraterrestrial threats. The design of the Blue Space emphasizes its exceptional space maneuverability and combat capabilities, making it a critical force in the battle against the Trisolaran fleet.

Spaceship Design
Gravity
A visual interpretation of Gravity, another key spacecraft central to the narrative arc. Gravity
The design highlights its elongated structure and functional aesthetic, emphasizing propulsion systems and scale in relation to space environments.

Scene Design
Four Classic Scenes
Four iconic moments from the novel were translated into cinematic scenes, focusing on composition, atmosphere, and narrative clarity.
Rather than direct replication, each scene was interpreted through visual storytelling — balancing fidelity to the source material with clarity for an exhibition audience.
Extended Content
What's More
Additional visual assets developed for the project, including environment visuals, spatial concepts, and derivative applications across different media formats.
These materials extend the visual language of the exhibition beyond the core scenes, supporting a more cohesive and immersive experience.
